Robert is in his senior year of college, majoring in Engineering at UCLA. Due to the influence of his father who used to be a professional surfer, he has enjoyed water sports since he was a kid. He already has a surfing instructor license, and is working as a part-time surfing instructor. He jokes that he even chose a college near the beach so he could surf more often. After getting a proper job his dream is to participate in international contests.
