Neil is a professor at University of Southern California, teaching students in the school of Architecture. He teaches the theory of architectural design, especially using computation. USC is highly reputed for progressive architecture. In fact, it has bore some of the best professionals in the field, for example like Frank Gehry, who graduated from USC and designed Walt Disney Hall and Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. Neil is a pretty well-known architect in the field and has given lectures outside U.S., in places like London and Seoul. He has been in Seoul twice and visited quite a few places to give several lectures. During his stay in Korea, he found Korea interesting and attractive because he felt that Korea characterizes itself to be much more open to Western ideas and culture, which he thought was very unique among all Asian countries.
