Jeff is in his sophomore year at Yale University. He¡¯s involved in a few social clubs at Yale, where he organizes fund raisers with his friends. He met a lot of friends through this fraternity. He¡¯s the social chairman for three of the groups that he¡¯s in. Within his school he likes Korean class the best because there aren¡¯t many students taking the class so he¡¯s able to have a close conversation with classmates and practice his talking skills. He also met his girlfriend in Korean class. Another reason why he likes learning Korean is that his mother is Korean and used to live with family members who can¡¯t speak English very well. He always wanted to communicate well with his family. He has also been to Korea five times and felt that the experience would be even more enriching if he knew Korean better.
