Tommy is a Classics major at Yale University. His Classics classes are usually about reading renowned literature works in Greek or Latin and sometimes discussing the secondary literature that comes from them. Tommy is not only interested in Latin works and culture but also fond of other cultures like Japanese. His interest in Japanese culture derives from his uncle who stayed 30 years in Japan. Tommy is also taking a class on classical Japanese called Bungo. In that class he studies about the basics of classical Japanese and its relation to the modern form of the language.
