Megan studies Nursing as a major and Hispanic Studies as a minor at Boston College. She chose Boston College because it has a highly ranked nursing program and she felt that other colleges do not have the same high spirits even though they have similar nursing programs to the ones Boston College does. Boston College is also known for a few famous sports teams, and Megan says she likes that a lot as she¡¯s a large sports fan. Unlike most of her friends whose families are near Boston, she came from Chicago and sometimes she went through hard times because she couldn't go home as much as she wanted to. Last year she was very sick and so upset that she couldn¡¯t go home to be taken care of by her family. However, she found that staying away from home makes her grow a lot as well.
